AM Series Micro Mist Separators
Will remove oil, water, and dirt from compressed air and is well suited for oil filtration following a piston compressor. The filter will remove materials 0.3 microns or larger with oil carry over 0.8 ppm or less. That translates into even some of the smallest components getting filtered out of the airstream.
Older filtration technology did work well, but it sometimes permitted smaller particles to make it through. Over time, these would start to build up and gum up the line. In some cases, very sophisticated manufacturing processes could be seriously compromised by this material.
That’s why the AM series micro-mist separators have become so popular with those who work with particularly complex factories.
